Craig Watkins is spending time these days as the chief engineer for Flying Lizard Motorsport. Here is the car at the 2004 Petit Le Mans. Johannes van Overbeek and Darren Law finished 2nd in the ALMS GT drivers championship, and Tommy Sadler won the Mechanic of the Year Award. www.lizardms.com

This car is older than dirt. It's a '67 911 (yep, 911, not 914). It has a 3.4ltr, Motec, Jerry Woods engine, 935 front nose and rear fenders. It runs as a GT3R car with PCA, but it's racing history includes IMSA Sebring 12hr, Riverside, SCCA, PCA, NASA, & PRC (porscheracingclub.com). It's been a race car since 1968. Wow!

Looking for a good starter car? This is Rich Walton's '72 911 Toyo Cup car. It runs in a spec class called the Toyo 911 Cup. Rich started this class in 2002 and the starting field increases every year. The basic package is a 2400 lbs car with driver, 3.0ltr stock engine (except for carbs and exhaust), Toyo tires, stock transmission, limited slip, and bolt on suspension goodies. More info at www.911cup.com.

This is Bob Stefanowicz's '74 911 that was built to run the 2003 NASA 25hr race at Thunderhill. It has a basically stock 3.6 ltr with Motec, TWM, and headers.

Ok, are you ready for this one: '69 911 with a carbon fiber 996 RSR body kit, air cooled twin turbo making 700+ hp. This is one impressive car and driver combo that is fun to watch.

This is a very special 934 owned by Michael Schafer. It has a 3.0ltr, single turbo, water-cooled intercooler, and flat fan engine. It's raced at Le Mans and has a colorful race history.

Stop and check this car out. 1973 911 that looks like a simple RS. Not so. This car has a 3.6ltr with Motec and TWM stacks, headers, Ph9 mufflers, 930 trailing arms, turbo brakes, 225/50-16 front, 245/45-16 rears, Fox Shox, and lots more. It is a great balance of power and handling that can put a smile on anyone's face.

Johannes van Overbeek's SVGT Car at Mosport. I engineered this and teammate Justin Marks 2001 996 GT3 Cup cars in 2001 and will again in 2002 - Johannes finished 3rd overall in point and Justin was runner up as rookie of the year - missed it by one point! Johannes' car was consistently the fastest Porsche on grid.
